What is Starflower Oil?

The oil from the Starflower is rich in gamma linolenic acid (GLA), an omega 6 fatty acid that must be obtained through the diet from linoleic acid which is also found in hemp, safflower and sunflower oils or through supplementation. Our Starflower Oil is extracted from borage seeds, which boasts the highest level of naturally-occurring GLA in any plant, a compound which converts to a useful hormone-like substances called prostaglandins in the body. Starflower Oil provides at least twice as much GLA as the same amount of Evening Primrose Oil. With 220mg of high-quality omega 6 per capsule, our high quality Starflower Oil can be taken by women of all ages throughout the month and particularly if suffering from PMS or around the menopause.

Why is ours better?

Each 1000mg capsule of starflower oil provides a whopping 220mg of GLA. The oil is cold-pressed to retain its nutritional value.

Who is this for?

For women of all ages, Starflower Oil may be particularly useful not only around menstruation but also going into the menopause. It has also traditionally been used for skin health. In the normal daily diet there are very few sources of GLA, the active ingredient in Starflower Oil - supplementing can fill that gap!

Returns

We hope you will be pleased with your purchase. However, should you wish to return anything bought from us, we will be happy to give a refund on a product provided it is in fully resalable condition. Returns should be made within 14 days and in original, sealed, undamaged packaging. Return postage costs will not be refunded unless the items are deemed faulty or damaged or you have received the wrong item.

When sending the item back to us, please include a copy of your order in the parcel.  On safe receipt a refund for the item will be made.   Return postage costs are not refunded unless you received an incorrect item, it is damaged or defective.

If we find that the product has not been returned to us in fully resalable condition, used or damaged, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or deduct up to 20% of the original selling price from the refund amount as a re-stocking fee.

Until we receive the goods you are returning, they are your responsibility. For your protection and peace of mind, we recommend you use a recorded delivery service to return things.
